Rancho De Los Amigos is located in Castro Valley, on Cull Canyon Road. Five miles outside of town, RDLA is an expansive property spanning over 500 acres. Our facility caters to riders who are in serious training, as well as those who enjoy pleasure riding. A friendly and accommodating environment, we respect horse people of all levels and support them with the finest horse care.
A private horse boarding and training facility we take great pride in enhancing the property and amenities. We regularly add challenges to our cross-country course, maintain the surfaces of arenas, and add amenities to our property. We treat safety as a top priority and keep barns and the property neat and free of debris. A premier equestrian center, we have everything competitors and pleasure riders alike need to enjoy and advance their horse skills in a safe, peaceful environment.
To assist riders in advancing their skills we currently have combined training instructors, a hunter/jumper instructor, and a lesson program. In addition, we host regular clinics, schooling shows, and horse trials through our Five Mile Equestrian Events.
Our horse boarding and training facility includes:
- A 100′ x 210′ Indoor Arena. Equipped with a full wall of mirrors, lights and a mix of sand and rubber footing treated with ‘Dust Down’.
- A 100′ x 180′ Outdoor Dressage Court with sand and rubber footing treated with ‘Dust Down’.
- A 100′ x 150′ Outdoor Jumping Arena with full set of jumps, and sand and rubber footing treated with ‘Dust Down’.
- A large cross-country course complete with water feature, coffin jump, banks and much more. Challenges range from elementary to preliminary level. A 60′ Lighted Round Pen for Lunging
- Miles of trails and access to park trails.
- 13 Turnouts of various sizes.
- Horse boarding in MD constructed barns
- Accommodations for haul-in and temporary stays
